Draft DTM reports, population movement analyses, emergency tracking, and other DTM outputs. Contribute to the design of Information Management (IM) products in collaboration with the IM team.- Analyse information from the field and map conditions and needs in areas affected by population displacements.- Organize and facilitate relevant trainings for the Rapid Assessment and Response Teams (RARTs) on issues related to DTM, including definitions, numbers, trends, impact on receiving populations, human rights concerns, and basic humanitarian needs.- Support programme implementation and reporting. Provide technical support for all aspects of project reporting, track progress and ensure that deadlines are met in collaboration with the departmental project team.- Research, analyse, write, and format internal and external programme reports and documents. Proof-read documents, attend meetings, take meeting minutes, and provide administrative support as requested by the supervisor.- Conduct research to support survey design, assessment preparation, and report development.- Liaise with relevant authorities, UN agencies, Non-Governmental Organisation (NGOs), think tanks, government authorities, and other stakeholders on issues relevant to the programme as needed. Participate and engage actively in the inter-cluster coordination group meetings and coordinate on DTM strategic participation in the development of the Humanitarian Needs Overview (HNO) and Humanitarian Response Plan (HRP). Additionally, participate and provide technical support in Common Core Services (CCS) cluster.- Support the IM Officer in ensuring the dissemination and adaption as necessary of information management tools that meet partners? and other humanitarian actors? needs.- Support and contribute to the representation of the role and functions of the DTM programme within the Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM) cluster, including site assessments. Liaise on a regular basis with the Protection cluster and its sub-working groups to represent DTM functions. Liaise with all other relevant partners/clusters, as needed.- Maintain organized databases and narrative reports of all information collected on return and movements.- Support the organization and deployment of DTM missions to the field. Organize the logistics for and procurement of DTM materials to ensure timely response.- Assist the DTM Coordinator with the overall supervision of the Rapid assessment and response team (RART) Support Unit and check that the deadlines are met.- Perform such other duties as may be assigned.Required Qualifications and Experience:Education* Master?s degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Political Science, Communications, Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience; or* University degree in the above fields with four years of relevant professional experience.Experience* Experience working in international organizations and the humanitarian community;* Experience in project management and implementation;* Experience in data collection, research, and report writing;* Experience in the development and implementation of population databases a distinct advantage;* Experience in relevant issues such as migration, displacement, and humanitarian assistance would be an asset;* Work experience in or knowledge of Iraq and/or the region would be an asset;* Experience in statistical analysis (STATA, SPSS, etc); and,* Experience writing technical requirements documents, translating/planning specifications to technical briefs for data capture/analysis, and compiling diverse datasets.Skills* Demonstrated skills of different data collection methodologies; and,* Strong computer background, including experience with relational databases, Microsoft applications, spreadsheets, and word processing.LanguagesIOM?s official languages are English, French, and Spanish.
