Job PurposeEnsure smooth running of operationsPerform duties in accordance with Malia Group?s Policies and Procedures.˙Duties And Responsibilities On Facility Management˙?Direct, coordinate and plan essential central services such as security, maintenance, cleaning, waste disposal, recycling, parking management and guest access?Ensure the building meets health and safety requirements and that facilities comply with legislation˙?Interview and hire facility employees and contractors, such as maintenance staff and janitorial services.?Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and deal with the consequences.?Coordinate fire evacuation training and drill?Manage budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness˙?Create standard operating procedures covering the responsibilities of his or her direct subordinates˙On Food and Beverage Management˙?Work, and develop relationships with external suppliers to ensure highest quality product, and the highest financial return?Work closely with the procurement manager to ensure correct stock levels are available?Ensure strict compliance with all relevant Hygiene and Safety legislation and requirements?Constantly review the product range to ensure that all key quality standards are maintained?Manage Health & Safety and Food Hygiene?Responsible for investigating any alleged food poisoning cases, and reporting?Responsible for maintaining and helping enforce the agreed Franchise standards for each unit by conducting and managing monthly audits?Responsible for ensuring relevant information is passed on to the Restaurant Managers and Assistant Managers.˙?Manage and monitor expenditures associated with equipment repair, manage the asset register and assist in budget setting each year?Assist in the planning and implementation of new ideas and menu specifications each season, working closely with the Franchise Support to ensure they fit with guidelines?Calculate and compare costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum valueImplement the top management strategies in marketing, public relations and communications
