To request a reasonable accommodation form, email humanresources@acuityinternational.comLabor CategoryFN4Job OverviewThe Dispatcher primarily dispatches various types of vehicles, buses, and material handling equipment.Roles and Responsibilities

  • Receive and document requests for vehicles and equipment
  • Determine and select appropriate type and size of vehicle or equipment based on requirements
  • Utilize telephone or radio communications equipment to transmit requests to crews or other personnel
  • Provide route and destination information and instructions
  • Prepare and maintain appropriate documentation on vehicles and equipment dispatched, gas and oil usage, mileage, repairs, passengers transported, accidents, etc.
  • Direct transportation operations as necessary to accomplish any valid requirement
  • Cross train as a vehicle operator
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Certifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Two-way radio and telephone operating procedures
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in utilizing Maximo Management database
  • Typically, 3 years of experience in Office administration.
Skills, Abilities And Years of Experience
  • Fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Valid HOR driver?s license and international driving permit (IDP) is required.
