Infrastructure Engineer ? The platform will enable events, logs, metrics, traces, Change & Drift Analytics, and alerts to make machine and application data accessible, usable, and valuable to everyone.To that end, we are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer/ Developer to work in the Infrastructure Monitoring, Change & Drift Management and Telemetry product organization. You will work on a team building a key part of our telemetry portfolio & Change Monitoring Solution. Our Change Monitoring and Drift Management team is responsible for discovering configurations, detecting drifts and analyzing the data to provide a complete view of contextualized drift management and unauthorized changes across all Operating systems and applications. As a lead engineer in this team, you will work on and improve the systems running at scale to ensure the platform can support & perform analytics on multi- terabytes of change & drift data ingested from various platforms & product integrations, can be stored with cost in mind, and can be queried , visualized ,analyzed and seamlessly integrated with other streams such as Service Now, App-Dynamics, Dynatrace etc.Primary Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the OS teams , Application & product teams across all LOBs to drive the adoption, governance, stability & reliability and operational excellence of the Change monitoring & Drift Management product with primary focus on exceptional client service.
• Work on a development team that writes code to automate services to enable self-service and no manual tasks
• Work in an agile process to pace and track what we work on and deliver high quality work
• Diagnose and resolve systemic obstacles that prevent the team from delivering high-quality software
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation to ensure risk management protocols and strategies are met
• Work on technical direction with architecture and engineering teams

Your Qualifications

• You?ve spent years building high-availability, high-scale, production systems. You have a strong background in how data can proactively observe the health of systems and how the data can be used as a proactive measure to prevent operational issues
• Excellent infrastructure experience on Windows and Linux
• At least 7+ years in a hands-on software/ Infrastructure Developer /Engineer role
• Advanced Hands on development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages: Python, Go, Java
• Good understanding of at least one Python frameworks (Django, Flask or Pyramid)
• Strong working knowledge of Databases such as MS SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL, PostgreSQL, RDS
• Working knowledge of stream-based solutions, e.g. Apache Kafka, Apache Camel
• Experience building applications on and integrating with a hybrid cloud model that is across on-prem infrastructure, private cloud and public cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity/ Working knowledge of Evolven, Tivoli, SCOM, Netcool, Grafana, Prometheus, Geneos is a plus
• Experience building solutions in an agile manner using DevOps principles like CI/CD, TDD and build/test/release automation tools such as Jules, Jenkins, Jira, Git/BitBucket, etc
• Experience working on virtualization, APIs, and modern software languages
• Strong technical understanding REST based services
• Working knowledge one of the following configuration management tools: Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt,SCCM
• EVOLVEN Product Experience is a plus
• On-Prem to Cloud product Migration Experience is a plus
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Passionate about good engineering practices, new technologies and improving processes
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication
• Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
