Organization DescriptionThe Firmwide Core Deposit Platform will grow revenue and ensure regulatory compliance through features and experiences that underpin the firm?s deposit accounts. Our product manages end-to-end features of deposit accounts, from pricing and fees to posting and settlement of depository transactions. This product also supports the underlying Deposit platform across maintenance, hygiene, modernization, and availability. In accordance with applicable law, we make reasonable accommodations for applicants? and employees? religious practices and beliefs, as well as any mental health or physical disability needs.As a liaison between scrum teams and business stakeholders, the Analyst will ensure timely delivery of product roadmap content while identifying risks, challenges, opportunities and growth strategies, business integration needs and retirement plans. The Analyst will attend and actively participate in scrum meetings and remain engaged in scrum development.They will interact with clients during feedback sessions, focus groups, user groups and requirements gathering sessions using insight gained to complete business scope documents and define user personas for individual products. The Analyst will also serve as an escalation point for clients.Responsibilities

  • Product Analysts are responsible for being proactive on FCDP initiatives and engaging team members and key stakeholders to drive conversations and deliverables that impact the overall FCDP Roadmap
  • Partner with Area Product Owners and product team for ongoing refinement of product backlog and execution of the product roadmap
  • Define and present strategy for features, write epics, user stories, acceptance criteria and participate in all agile events of the product group as a team member
  • Understand clients? processes or customer journey flow and identify which product/ solution will best meet their needs.
  • Participate in Customer journey mapping, customer focus groups to understand customer pain points and overall experience of a journey.
  • Product Analyst role is accountable for timely execution of Production Validations, conducting lessons learned and Business Requirement, generating pertinent process maps/flows as applicable
  • Understand the environment(s) in scope and serve as a Subject Matter Resource.
  • Collaborate with interfacing teams/ partners to evaluate dependencies, Requirements and Schedule
  • Understand client need and client use of the platform and dependencies to Capture and Viewers.
  • Conduct elaboration sessions to solicit requirements not detailed in the Client Questionnaire and as needed to refine the requirements and customer ask.
  • Writing Epics, Stories, Testing Conditions/ scripts, validation criteria, communication plans and release planning.
  • Effectively identify, communicate and escalate risks, blockers, and impacts that could delay the Qtr by Qtr delivery of projects.
  • Act as voice of the customer and drive product vision
  • Manage existing product features and actively lead the research definition and development of new features to advance the product roadmap
  • Facilitate and drive customer focused solutions across the organization in direct support of the Product Owner and Area Product Owners
  • Work with other product teams, legal, risk, operations, design and technology teams to define, prioritize, deliver and align solutions to product vision and roadmap
  • Support feature teams with MVP, testing, user experience testing, product backlog refinement, research and other duties as assigned
  • Identify and partner with business stakeholders to implement changes in operational policies, process flows, procedures, and specialist tools and customer messages
  • Occasional after hours and weekend assignment to connect with other colleagues and resources in support of implementations, production events, or validation post Production.
Qualifications
  • With overall 14 years of experience, requires at least 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Area Product Owner role preferably with Agile methods, process & execution
  • Requires experience developing business requirements, writing stories, preferably working knowledge for creating testing conditions, use cases and validation criteria
  • Requires experience in Customer interviews, focus groups as well as mapping customer journeys.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, and self-directed.
  • Collaborative and a high level of comfort and effectiveness in coordination roles; working with multiple business and technology partners to drive transparency in project deliverables.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Specifically, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Working experience creating process flows using Visio.
  • Working knowledge of Agile process and principles, including use of Agile project management tools (i.e., Confluence, JIRA, Git, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational, time and project management skills
  • Ability to learn on the move, self-paced, mentor, or thru execution.
  • Sharp analytical, problem-solving and leadership skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage continuously shifting business priorities
  • Working knowledge of Commercial, Corporate or Investment Banking domains will be an added advantage.
