With this in mind, we are seeking a Vice President of AI and Automation to oversee the organizations entire AI and automation enablement. This role includes direct oversight of several key directorial positions, including the Director of AI Orchestration, Automation, and Data Science, the Director of AI and Automation Experience Design, and the Director of AI Solution Design and Architecture. Your leadership will ensure that AI and automation technologies are seamlessly integrated into the company?s products, services, and processes to drive innovation, efficiency and to support the delivery of value from our data.You will have the opportunity to be at the helm of cutting-edge technology initiatives in our industry, steering the company through transformative changes with AI and automation. This position is pivotal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is passionate about leveraging technology to drive substantial business improvements and innovations.Key Responsibilities

  • Enable the company?s overarching strategy for AI and automation, aligning with business goals and technological advancements
  • Lead and coordinate the efforts of the AI and automation departments, ensuring collaboration and cohesion across various projects and initiatives
  • Drive and oversee the collaboration with other technology teams across the organization to seamlessly deliver solutions
  • Advise in the development and implementation of AI systems and frameworks across the organization, ensuring they meet high standards of scalability, usability, and security. Provide input and support in defining the overall strategy for the organization
  • Design, build and manage the platforms and the associated strategy including the architecture, technologies, and operating model that delivers solutions quickly and ensures effective scalability
  • Monitor industry trends and technological developments in AI and automation to maintain and ensure awareness across multiple technology teams
  • Establish and maintain productive, collaborative relationships with key technology partners, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Build a CoE model that focuses on scalable data, architecture and platforms to support business teams in unlocking the potential of Generative AI
  • Manage budgets, resources, and timelines across AI & Automation CoE projects
  • Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards governing AI and automation
  • Champion a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision making within the organization
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction to senior directors and their teams
  • Bring together the Enterprise AI program by shaping and connecting AI use cases across the organization while ensuring organizational governance and alignment
  • Report on the progress, challenges, and successes of AI and automation initiatives to the executive teams as required
  • Ensure enablement and support of proof-of-concept projects across the organization, provide feedback and judge outcomes to determine permanency and value proposition
Your Experience
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field
  • Extensive executive leadership experience in AI, automation, machine learning or related fields within a large and complex organization
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute measurable AI and automation strategies that have a significant positive impact on business outcomes
  • Strong technical acumen with a deep understanding of AI, machine learning, data science, and automation technologies
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing high-performing teams across multiple locations and disciplines
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships across all levels of an organization
  • Experience in transforming traditional business operations through AI and automation
  • Recognized thought leader in the field of AI, with contributions to industry discussions, publications, or conferences
