Content moderators serve as an important line of defence by helping improve the quality and safety of online content while gaining hands-on job experience. You will deliver value to our clients, while making a larger impact on society. You will be responsible for analysing and reviewing user profiles, audio, videos, and text-based content and/or investigating, escalating and/or resolving issues that are reported by users or flagged by the system. Due to the nature of the role, the user may be exposed to flashing lights or contrasting light and dark patterns. Content moderation is meaningful work that helps keep the internet safe. It may also be challenging, at times. In the context of this role, individuals may be directly or inadvertently exposed to potentially objectionable and sensitive content (e.g., graphic, violent, sexual, or egregious). Therefore, content moderators need strong resilience and coping skills. Be aware of social trends, political situations, current affairs etc. Bachelors degree in a relevant field pref. in English, Mass Communications Exposure to Generative AI technology, natural language processing, and machine learning concepts. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyze and evaluate content effectively. Strong communication/comprehension skills and the ability to provide clear and constructive feedback. Proficiency in written and verbal communication in the target language(s) for content validation and generation. Familiarity with content moderation policies, guidelines, and best practices Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving requirements. Content creation or moderation exp Awareness of ethical considerations and the ability to apply them in content moderation and generation processes. Familiarity with different social media platforms Roles and Responsibilities Validate and rate generated content for accuracy, relevance, and quality based on predefined guidelines and criteria. Identify and report any content that violates guidelines or policies, including issues related to inappropriate language, hate speech, violence, or other forms of abuse. Collaborate with the AI development team to provide feedback and insights on improving the AI models and algorithms. Conduct research and stay updated on emerging trends, cultural nuances, and platform-specific guidelines to enhance content validation and generation processes. Generate high-quality content using Generative AI systems, ensuring it meets the required standards and aligns with the desired objectives. Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to improve skills and knowledge related to content moderation and generation. Maintain accurate records and documentation of content validation activities, ensuring compliance with data protection and privacy regulations. ? ? Review, classify and/or remove content according to client guidelines, using specific tools and channels ? Understand and make decisions/take actions as per client policies and guidelines ? Stay up to date with any changes on policies/process ? Investigate, resolve, and relay complex content issues to the broader Trust and Safety team ? Identify improvement opportunities in workflow and suggest solutions to improve quality and overall efficiency of the process ? Participate in continuous training programs and workgroup discussions for optimal development in the role ?
