  • Work with the wider department to identify where rollouts to new countries and jurisdictions, or changes to existing deployments, require internal/external regulatory and legal approvals.
  • Using the HSBC regulatory and legal tooling, engage with the local country representatives to meet their requirements for rollout approvals. This will entail an understanding of the systems we support and the associated data and security controls.
  • Where needed, represent the systems in outsourcing committee or regulatory/legal meetings, communicating with a variety of local stakeholders.
  • Operate as the department?s primary conduit with HSBC?s external and internal auditors. Clearly understand and agree the scope of the audits and the required information, timeframes and local department representatives.
  • Manage, track and support audit requests by working with the wider department to ensure information is provided and the audit itinerary is closely adhered to. Oversee audits to completion, communicating progress to senior stakeholders.
  • Where risks are identified, work with the team to ensure these are resolved or mitigated to an acceptable level.
  • Have the opportunity to become involved in the wider Cyber Security, Risk and Control Team activities, including: Cybersecurity engagement, security documentation, security incidents, risk management, control management and third party risk management.
