The candidate will join with our Hyderabd location and will be part of TET department reporting to PM of the DC.OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:As aÿSystem Engineer, you will own and create system design and creation ensuring the system specification in place.You will interface with Software Architect, Software designers and V&V designers and support program towards QCD commitments.RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop Design specifications in accordance with Customer Requirements and issues.
• Recommend strategic improvements to optimize performances.
• Experience in design of software products as per railway signalling standards .
• Able to Understand User needs, Business requirements and solve complex problems.
• Ability to manage traceability and impact analysis of requirements.
• Contribute to the elaboration of System specification & architecture.
• Place the design specifications under configuration management according to product Configuration Management Plan
• Apply the process and standards specific to program
• Contribute to continuous improvement (RoE: Return on Experience, process, ?)
• Deep understanding of technologies and architecture in a highly scalable and available set-up.
• Risk identification and management.
• Ability to explain the System Requirements to Software specifiers.
• Regularly suggest improvements for Program.
• Understand product development life cycle and good understanding on Change management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong critical and analytical thinking.
• Subject Matter expert in Existing System Design and Architecture.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:EDUCATIONBachelor/Post Graduate in Engineering ? IT, CS, ECE & EEE or EquivalentBEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:

• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and able to guide, influence and convince others in a matrix organization.
• Be Innovative and demonstrate to peers and implement in creation of Reference Libraries, reusable codes, and model based developments
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and able to guide, influence and convince others in a matrix organization.
• Team Player with prior experience in working with European customer is not mandatory but preferable. ÿÿÿ

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCEÿ

• 4 to 8+ years of experience in System Design and Architecture.
• Rail industry background is highly desirable, alternatively similar industries can also be considered.
• Requirement Management Toolÿ: DOORS
• Defect Tracking toolÿ: Clearquest , JIRA or any equivalent tool
• Domain: Railways (Not Mandatory)
• Standards: CENELEC ? EN 50128
• Hands on experience - XSD and XML
