Organization DescriptionThe Cybersecurity & Technology Controls group at JPMorgan Chase aligns the firm?s cybersecurity, access management, controls, and resiliency teams. The group proactively and strategically partners with all lines of business and functions to enable them to design, adopt and integrate appropriate controls; deliver processes and solutions efficiently and consistently; and drive automation of controls. The group?s number one priority is to enable the business by keeping the firm safe, stable, and resilient. Specifically, were the team who helps secure data management in the Public Cloud. We are experts in data protection and governance, passionate in our desire to maintain a high security bar and focused on how to build secure and resilient data management systems in the cloud.?As a Cloud Security Engineer within Data Management, you will contribute towards the design and development of data protection services and applications that identify, classify and protect data both on-premises and on the Public Cloud. ?This role presents the perfect opportunity for software developers looking to begin a career in Cybersecurity. Some previous experience with Cybersecurity is required. The successful candidate will receive training and support to gain exposure to products that enable the development of secure code from the start.Required Skills

  • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong DevOps skills with Terraform
    • Strong in Cloud Security methodology and tools
    • Strong in Threat Modelling and Risk Assessment
  • Proficiency and hands on development experience within a Public Cloud environment?
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Technically proficient enough to mentor junior engineers
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication skills
  • Works well independently and as part of a team
