Candidate will design platforms that include ultra-high performance codecs, sensor technologies, system-on-chip wireless devices, and other connected devices.ÿCandidate will be involved in board-level and system-level hardware development from conceptual design through end-customer delivery and support.ÿCandidate will be expected to work cross-site and cross-organization to meet the project deliverables.úÿ Board-level digital, power, analog design, analysis and test. Design and simulate state of the art high performance PWB/PCBs and FPCs. Must be able to quickly assimilate and refine existing hardware designs, apply integration and problem solving skills in the lab, work closely with software and ASIC design engineers.úÿ Research and develop innovative systems with the latest SoC chipsets, RF ICs, and biological sensor ICs for smart phone, compute, and XR devices.úÿ Design, analyze, integrate, verify and maintain hardware and circuit card assemblies.Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.5+ years Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience.úCandidate must have 5 years experience in consumer electronics, audio, or mixed-signal design.úÿ Solid understanding of electrical engineering and circuit fundamentalsúÿ Strong knowledge of both digital and analog designúÿ Baseband hardware and circuit card design experience, including digital and analog, schematic and layout of PWB and flexible printed circuit boardsúÿ Outstanding communications skills, oral and writtenúÿ Must have strong lab skills and be well organizedAdditional Skills:úÿ Knowledge of timing analysis, transmission line fundamentals, cross talk, efficient low-power supply design, decoupling, and layout of high performance digital and analog circuitsúÿ FPGA and CPLD design experienceúÿ Familiarity with DSPs, microprocessors, digital communication interfaces (I2C, SPI), audio bus formats (e.g. I2S, PDM, SoundWire), memories, voltage regulators, biological sensors, and other consumer electronics hardwareúÿ Familiarity with design/analysis tools, such as ADS, LTSpice, Mentor Graphics Xpedition or equivalentsúÿ Embedded programming skillsúÿ Project leadershipúÿ Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skillsMinimum Qualifications:?ÿ ÿ Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.ORMasters degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.ORPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.Applicants: If you need an accommodation, during the application/hiring process, you may request an accommodation by sending email toaccommodationsupportAlthough this role has some expected minor physical activity, this should not deter otherwise qualified applicants from applying.
