Requisition Number: 216960External Description:Role:˙Senior DevOps EngineerLocation: HyderabadWhat Youll Do˙Teradata Corporation is looking for a driven Software Engineer to join Teradata High availability group. As a team member, you will use your skills to enhance and maintain multiple tools and services that enable continuous deployment and integration of product components. The successful candidate will be using multiple technology stacks to develop services that will enable service delivery, improve testing, optimize deployment, improve our security posture, and enable operations teams to serve better for different groups involved in bring new capabilities of Teradata product to market.Who Youll Work WithYou will be working with 20 more brilliant engineers who are Developers , QA Engineers, Cloud Engineers and Product ManagementThis position reports to Engineering manager.Preferred Education and Experience Requirements:B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of˙experience in Developing, and maintenance of continuous integration solutions for multiple applications on cloud in a cost effective manner

  • Hands on with developing using DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
  • Have strong proficiency in One of the public cloud environments (AWS, AZURE, GCP)
  • Have built automation to deploy scalable microservice applications on both on premise and cloud
  • Excellent automation skills using Python, Jenkins
  • Good knowledge in terraform
  • Should have worked on e2e automation release pipeline
  • Should have willingness to learn new technologies and tools and quick ramp up
  • Troubleshoot deployment and integration problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace
  • Good to have UI technologies like Django, Angular is added advantage
  • Knowledge or working exposure into AI / ML solutions is preferred
  • Results oriented working within a collaborative team
  • Should have very strong communication and presentation skills˙
What Youll Bring
  • Develop and maintain automation services for deploying Teradata product on cloud using Python and Jenkins.
  • Support infrastructure provisioning on Cloud and containers using custom built python libraries. Work on continuous improvements to develop zero touch deployment process across clouds.
  • Understand the infrastructure usage and develop script to monitor the usage and cost
  • When required able to contribute towards writing machine learning algorithms to get intelligent decisions
  • Develop SaaS solutions that would enable faster product delivery and simplify service engineering.
  • Maintain of legacy services and enhance them to a scalable micro service architecture
  • Keep UpToDate with technology trends and open-source projects relating to the problem space of product delivery and contribute towards customization and implementation
