Essential part of this work is the provision of the necessary safety and reliability analyses, based on detailed analyses performed by other specialists in their own technical domains.? Derive the safety and reliability requirements into system, subsystem, and equipment systems assurance specification requirements.? Interfaces with and supports internal and external stakeholders (engineering, customers, assessors, etc.) for various tasks during the product/system lifecycle related to safety and reliability activities. This is specifically intensive during the work in projects.? Good knowledge of CENELEC Standards (EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129); MIL-217, MIL 882 etc.? Performs safety assessment of design changes during the lifecycle of project and provide suggestions to design improvements from safety & reliability point of view.? Provides implementation feedback and improvement suggestions for ATs Product Safety Management System; for Reliability; and for relevant horizontal initiatives.? The Product Safety and Reliability Engineer Performs activities during the realization, authorization, operation and field support of the products/subsystems. He/she leads the Product Safety activities related to the management of incidents, accidents and near-misses with AT products and services (Alstom-internal terminology: Product Safety Bulletins ).? Able to review the test procedures (type tests & routine tests) from safety point of view.? Knowledge about the relevant tools like requirement management tool (DOORS), reliability analysis tools, FTA etc.Key responsibilitiesProduct Safety and Reliability assessment and documentation activities in projects, or supporting Product Families.Able to prepare Reliability Allocation, RBD, Reliability Prediction ,Safety plan, IHA, SSHA, PHA, OSHA, FMECA, , FTA, Safety cases etc.Communication, support to other engineering functions, assessors and stakeholders with respect to project or Product Family workLead the Product Safety activities related to the management of incidents, accidents and near-missesPlanning, reporting and horizontal activities associated with the roleAlstom is the leading company in the mobility sector, solving the most interesting challenges for tomorrow?s mobility.
