Job Details ? Project ManagerIn this role, the individual shall be guiding the team independently or with little support to implement & deliver complexproject assignments. They should have a background in business skills, management, budgeting, and analysis.Responsible for getting the best out of the people andprojectsthat they oversee.They thrive when planningprojectsand working withprojectteams.Essential Responsibilities:

  • Organize and facilitate project planning meetings, program reviews, sprints, and release planning, demos and other project related meetings
  • Establish clear ownership for project tasks, ensure that team members have the tools needed with timely update, and provide feedback
  • Find and work to remove development and project roadblocks; motivates the functional teams and keep them excited to move forward.
  • Knowledgeable in the management and execution of a phase gate business process
  • Reviews, evaluates and schedules requests for new application systems, modifications and changes to existing application systems.
  • Communicates plan changes, specification changes to team members, other team leaders and managers.
  • Responsible for implementing standard company process and procedures by all team members based on location.
  • Works within approved budgets, developing and implementing cost saving measures, contributing to profits and revenues, and conserving organizational resources.
  • Looks for ways to improve and promote quality through demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Set-up weekly cadence meetings, works across cross-functional teams, located both domestically and abroad, to deliver high quality projects on time and within budgets.
Education and ExperienceMinimum qualifications include a Bachelors degree in Engineering (Preferably Computer Science) from an accredited college or university.5-8 years of solid project management experience. Minimum overall experience of 12+ yearsRequired Job SkillsProject Management (PMI), Project Management or Professional (PMP) certification strongly preferredSAFe and Agile Technical project management of multiple software releasesExperience or Certified SAFe Practitioner to enable and train the team on SAFe and Agile best practices including Create, manage and track work item, tracking features, PBI, tasks and also bring out and escalating impediments as needed.Demonstrated experience executing Safe Agile practices, PI planningHe / She should have sound knowledge about Agile techniques like: User Stories, Continuous Integration, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Testing, Automated TestingCertification in Six Sigma and/or Agile methodologies a plusExperience with both software and hardware product development5+ years? experience in successfully delivering software applications.5+ years? experience of cross-functional team coordination.5+ years? experience working with teams located domestically and abroad.Minimum of 3 years? experience in both Waterfall and Agile project methodologies for a total of 12+ years? experience in managing projects either as project manager or scrum master.Demonstrated ability to manage large multidisciplinary products against multiple engineering teams.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to influence and lead in driving change in the organization.Knowledge of project management tools is a must especially JIRA, ConfluenceExcellent command of English language.Excellent Time Management Skills.Strong Leadership skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Willingness to challenge the norm and push for change to move activities forward.Willing to travel domestic and international to fulfil business need.
