This is your chance to change the path of your career and guide multiple teams to success at one of the worlds leading financial institutions.As a Manager of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the CCN Core Platform Engineering, you lead multiple teams and manage day-to-day implementation activities by identifying and escalating issues and ensuring your team?s work adheres to compliance standards, business requirements, and tactical best practices.Job responsibilities

  • Provides guidance to immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and activities
  • Sets the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration
  • Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirements
  • Manages stakeholder relationships and the team?s work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements
  • Creates a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect for the team members and prioritizes diverse representation
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Hands-on and solid experience in building & delivering Sprint boot, Event based cloud-native Micro services. Preferred AWS cloud capability.
  • Proficient in system design, Java & Micro services design patterns, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Advanced level skills in Java and Spring technologies and one messaging technology(Kafka preferred)
  • Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
  • Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security
  • Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience working at Java and Spring boot code level
