Job Description

Key responsibilities ÿBusiness Development Objectives:?ÿThe primary goal is to expand our customer base, increase market share, and achieve revenue targets as per budgetÿ?ÿBuild and maintain a robust sales pipeline by proactively identifying and engaging potential clients through various channels such as cold calling, networking events, industry conferences, and referrals. Ensure that the sales cycle of each opportunity is managed through CRM with regularÿ?ÿDevelop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, highlighting the unique value propositions and benefits of our logistics services?ÿProvide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to the management team, highlighting key performance metrics, sales achievements, and areas for improvement?ÿNegotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring profitability while meeting customer requirements and market standardsCustomer Delight:?ÿCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, customer service, and finance, to ensure smooth onboarding and seamless delivery of services to clients. Take part in MBRs and QBRs with customers?ÿEstablish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the assigned sector, including senior executives, supply chain managers, and procurement officers?ÿMarket study to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape, and use this information to develop tailored business development strategiesQUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIESÿSkills and Competencies?ÿProven track record of successfully driving business growth and achieving sales targets in the logistics or related industry, with at least 8-10 years of experience?ÿRelevant logistics expertise within identified sub sectors ? Assignedÿ?ÿStrong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport, persuade and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.?ÿExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex logistics solutions in a clear and compelling manner?ÿSelf-motivated and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, target-driven environment?ÿProficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads, track sales activities, and generate reports?ÿFlexibility to travel as needed to meet clients, attend industry events, and explore new business opportunitiesStakeholder Internal: All Business and Functional Verticals,ÿExternal: Customers, Major competitors?ÿEducational Qualification (min)ÿPost-Graduation in Marketing / Sales or Post-Graduation in Logistics/Supply Chain?ÿPreferred Certifications if anyÿrelevant logistics expertise within identified sectors?ÿRange/ Min no of years - of overall Experience requiredÿ8+ years.ÿ?ÿMin no of years of Industry specific experience required, if any & the industry typeÿ5-7 years of experience in logistics industryÿ
