As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm?s business objectives.Job responsibilities

• Responsible for the technical integrity of our teams delivery.
• Partner with the Application Development Manager in the analysis and estimation of future work impacting our team.
• Partner with the Scrum Master to lead our team in breaking down complex Features/Stories into well understood and achievable tasks.
• Partner with Architects on the design and architecture for our teams deliverables.
• Be an active developer and contributor to the team?s delivery. Take the lead on solving and implementing difficult technology challenges and drive our team to successful delivery.
• Work closely with BA/QA team members to create test plans and ensure that issues are properly identified, fixed, and tested.
• Ensure development quality is being tracked and improved using techniques like Unit Testing and Peer Review.
• Strengthen the presence of our team as a Technical center of excellence for Web Content Management.
• Mentor team members to progress their technical and professional skills.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on Software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Experience with Service-oriented platform development using Java, JEE, Spring Framework, HA Hadoop, AWS, Cloud Foundry, Open Stack Cloud or Azure stack )
• Working experience with Multitenant architecture, MicroServices, Container, Virtualization
• Working hands on experience in one or more cloud platform ? PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry), AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, preferably PCF or AWS.
• Experience in implementing and building MicroServices preferably using Java and Spring Boot with Solid understanding of REST and Micro Services design patterns.
• Experience on API Management platforms, API Gateway and implementing API Service architectures (SOAP, REST) using any of the market leading API Management tools such as Apigee and frameworks such as Spring Boot for Microservices
• Experience in deploying Service and Apps on a cloud PaaS such as PCF(Pivotal Cloud Foundry) or AWS.
• Hands-on integration experience with industry standard messaging products like Apache Kafka (2+ Years)
• Experience with containerization (e.g. Docker) and Container Management software (Kubernetes) using Red Hat OpenShift
• Expert knowledge with a track record of solution delivery using various data integration solutions in situations requiring real time (synchronous and asynchronous) messaging, Publish/Subscribe models, Microservices patterns, Middleware, and other related methodologies in a multi-user, multi-platform, multi-tier environment
• Good to have the Security Design principles awareness, SSL/TLS protocols, Securing APIs and familiarity with Authentication/Authorization protocols which includes SSO, OAUTH2.0, SAML.
• Experience working with no-SQL databases like MongoDB and Cassandra, a plus.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Solid understanding of Domain model micro-services, Spring Boot, Netflix frameworks Zuul, API gateway , etc.,.
• Familiar with TDD, code testability standards, JUnit/Mockito
• Work with the DevOps tools team to develop and properly use the MicroServices CI & CID pipeline.
