• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced JIRA Development and Support Specialist with development experience to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in JIRA administration, coupled with expertise in scripting and development, particularly focusing on the migration of JIRA from on-premises to cloud environments.
• This role requires proficiency in dashboard/reporting configuration, data extraction, JIRA governance, Scriptrunner, and JIRA Cloud administration.

• 8+ years of experience in support, software services, and system administration for a large end-user community
• Understand the migration process of JIRA from on-premises to cloud, ensuring a smooth and successful transition while minimizing disruptions to users and data integrity.
• Develop a comprehensive migration strategy, including data migration, server configuration, and testing plans.
• Configure and customize dashboards and reports within JIRA to meet the needs of stakeholders and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Extract data from JIRA in accordance with established standards and best practices, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
• Implement and enforce JIRA governance policies, including user management, permission schemes, issue types, workflows, and project configurations.
• Develop custom scripts and automation solutions using Scriptrunner for JIRA to enhance functionality, automate repetitive tasks, and address specific business requirements.
• Provide expertise and support in managing JIRA Cloud instances, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions within the JIRA environment.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to JIRA administration, development, and cloud computing.

• Bachelors in CS or equivalent experience
