Job Description

Java/J2ee Senior Developer :This role is a great opportunity for a hands-on technical developer / lead, involving technical direction in shaping the firm wide messaging and integration Strategy, day to day development of user-stories, L3 support escalation in a DevOps framework, and providing technical consultancy/support to internal application development team.Responsibilities include:

  • Development of new features and enhancements to the managed service applications within the group
  • Development of POCs for legacy application upgradations and active involvement in designing and implementation for it
  • Co-leading the engineering team and customer engagements
  • Coding, compiling, unit testing, integration, packaging and deployment of developed software
  • Technical consultancy to internal Application Development Teams
  • Ensure overall quality of deliverables is consistent with defined standards and Agile development practice
  • L3/L4 support for complex technical issues with the managed service applications and supported products
Essential Skills:
  • 8 years+ of demonstrated experience with OO design patterns/frameworks, including application integration frameworks
  • Experience in leading technical teams
  • Effective client engagement skills
  • Java (solid core/Advanced Java skills), Cloud Foundry, Spring and SpringBoot
  • JMS development over any message oriented middleware such as IBM MQ (preferable ) , Kafka, RabbitMQ etc
  • JDBC/SQL (preferably Oracle), NO SQL
  • Restful API and Web Services
  • XSLT/XQuery experience for manipulating XML
  • Development experience on Linux platform
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Self-motivated and responsible
  • Working experience on CI/CD process
  • EAI/SOA/ESB Experience
  • Mule ESB experience
  • Cloud products experience (AWS preferable )
Desirable Skills:
  • Web Development experience using Spring MVC, Angular JS, JQuery
  • Docker images and Kubernetes
  • Python
  • UNIX shell scripting
  • Maven for structured build
