Job Description

Java/J2EE Architect : The Vice President of Java/J2EE Developer/ Architect will be responsible for developing and designing Java/J2EE components for integration related products / applications and also enabling AWS platform for internal clients and implement software engineering best practices. As a representative of the team owning integration products, within the firm the Architect would be expected to provide guidance to the internal and LoB Application teams. The Architect would also be involved in development of new in-house private cloud solutions using Java/Golang and Kubernetes.Required Skills and Experience

  • Total IT experience should 15+ years
  • Should have been working as a Java/J2EE Lead and Architect
  • Hands on experience in Java/J2EE
  • Hands on experience in Python
  • Knowledge / hands on in AWS
  • Programming with APIs, Golang
  • JMS development over any message oriented middleware such as IBM MQ , Kafka, RabbitMQ etc
  • JDBC/SQL, NO SQL
  • Restful API and Web Services
  • JSON & XML Schema (namespaces, substitution groups)
  • Working experience on CI/CD process
  • EAI/SOA/ESB Experience
  • General troubleshooting and debugging
  • Demonstrated ability to build self-service, self-healing, highly scalable and secure cloud software capabilities
  • Experienced with Agile development methodologies, processes, and procedures
  • Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or any other Engineering field
  • Knowledge on Terraform Enterprise and/or other firm-specific multi-cloud provisioning platform
  • Certification on AWS Solution Developer/Solution Architect
Good to Have Skills and Experience
  • Experience on development projects using open source tools
  • Docker images and Kubernetes
  • Experience on public clouds like GCP or Cloud Foundry
  • Automation using RedHat Ansible
  • Operations of Cloud Infrastructure
  • Any certification on Cloud Foundry
