Job Description

DescriptionRole Purpose:The Product Group Architect balances technological opportunities with business requirements at Product Group level and maintains a holistic view of the group ˙strategy, processes, information and IT&D/Data Assets for all the product lines within the product group. Links the group business mission, strategies and processes to the IT&D strategy. The Product Group Architect is the guardian of the architecture across all Product Lines within the Product Group/Platform, taking into account all layers: Process/outcome, Application, Technology and DataKey Responsibilities:

  • Leads identification and analysis of key industry and technology trends to assess potential effect on the group businesses and tech landscape, and facilitates their testing with the Innovation Team, the Solution Architects and the Product Managers
  • Provides inputs and expertise to the IT&D Strategy Office and to Product (Group) Managers for˙budget˙definition and allocation of investments to meet business initiatives while optimizing the group Strategic Architecture
  • Builds the long-term strategic roadmap for the group tech and data architecture, linked to the group product groups
  • Contribution to IT&D Strategy - under the supervision and guidance of her/his primary Community of Practice Lead and Head of Enterprise Architecture
  • Facilitates and ensures the use of the IT&D governance principles within his/her scope˙
  • Contributes to the building of the overall Enterprise Architecture community
  • Supports the IT&D strategy and planning process to align continuously with the company?s business goals and objectives
  • Integrates group business and IT&D strategy into group strategic product architecture and enterprise architecture roadmap
