You?re ready to gain the skills and experience needed to grow within your role and advance your career˙Job SummaryThe GT Asset Assessments Governance Monitoring Specialist role requires an individual with the proficiency to translate abstract data into easily understandable and highly visual dashboard applications and executive-level report deliverables. To excel in this role, an ideal candidate should have solid experience in Data Analytics tools, such as Tableau, and should also have a proven history in working on complex process and technology projects. Another significant skill to have, is understanding of a technology risk control environment. This specific role will report to the Head of Global Technology Asset Assessments Programs.Job responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy Tableau dashboards for monitoring the overall health and results of Technology Asset Assessments and Risk Classification Programs. The dashboards should highlight different issues and drive remediation tasks in an agile environment.
  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve and enhance reporting deliverables via a data-centric approach using digital tools, process re-engineering skills, innovation, automation, etc.
  • Generate deep insights through data discovery/analysis of technology asset assessments data and understanding control evaluation via a data-centric approach for assessment optimization.
  • Design and execute test scripts evaluating large-scale datasets leveraging Impala/Hue/SQL.
  • Stakeholder Management across regions/teams, including sharing best practices, and leveraging common tools and processes where feasible. Collaborate with risk and control teams to understand control measurements and evaluations.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelors degree, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • 5+ years of applied experience in dashboard development and reporting using Tableau and database management tools, such as Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, etc.
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL concepts, and other data management concepts, including manipulating large, complex, and disparate datasets.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and applying creativity to solve complex problems and investigating correlations.
  • Proficient in MS Office - Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Meticulous initiative-taker with strong conceptual and analytical thinking, decision making, planning, time management, and prioritization skills.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Working knowledge of technology controls and assessments.
  • Experience working in JIRA/Agile Development environments.
  • 3-5 years of general-purpose programming and object-oriented programing concept experience.
