Job Details:ÿIn this role, you will work closely with Architects, HW or SW Engineering and RTL validation teams. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:?Full FPGA development flow from FPGA device selection to architecture, design, implement, synthesize, place and route and close timing, simulation, board level bring up, debug of FPGAs and feature verification?Development and maintenance of FPGA-based code to implement algorithms for data processing and transmission in an embedded real-time control environment utilizing the latest Xilinx / Altera technology and Vivado/Quartus development tools?Verify designs (including SOC architectures utilizing soft-core processors, digital filters, and communication interfaces/protocols), design and implement test benches, test plans for both chip-level and system level environments and create reusable verification environments that can be used across multiple projects?Work in System Verilog/UVM environment platform and be responsible for generating FPGA feature verification matrix and coming up with verification environments for test and verification of FPGA code/modules?Work collaboratively and in tandem with RTL design and Verification engineers and embedded software engineers, providing documentation, debug support, technical expertise on hardware and software interfacesQualifications:?Bachelors degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering with a minimum of 5+ years of experience -OR- a Masters degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering with 3+ years of experience in:?Hands-on experience and Strong proficiency in EDA FPGA synthesis, debug and partitioning tools like Synplify, Chipscope, Certus, Protolink, Identify. ?Possess FPGA implementation expertise including technology specific optimization, FPGA IO planning, clocking, FPGA sizing, synthesis and place and route ?Should possess an expertise in the typical FPGA platforms such as Actel, Xilinx and Altera and be familiar with ISE Design Suite, Vivado Design Suite or Quartus Tool flow?Hands-on experience with RTL simulation tool flows (VCS, NCSIM, Verdi etc) be familiar with low-power design and verification methodologies?Knowledge of any scripting language such as Perl or python Additional Preferred Qualifications:?Experience and hands on skills with Lauterbach, Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Scan dumps and waveform analysis?Experience in system level debug and understanding of system issues involving RTL Logic, platform and software components.?In-depth knowledge in communication protocols and industry standard interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART and EthernetJob Type:Experienced HireShift:Shift 1 (India)Primary Location:ÿIndia, HyderabadAdditional Locations:Business group:As the worlds largest chip manufacturer, Intel strives to make every facet of semiconductor manufacturing state-of-the-art -- from semiconductor process development and manufacturing, through yield improvement to packaging, final test and optimization, and world class Supply Chain and facilities support.ÿ Employees in theÿTechnology Development and Manufacturing Groupÿare part of a worldwide network of design, development, manufacturing, and assembly/test facilities, all focused on utilizing the power of Moore?s Law to bring smart, connected devices to every person on Earth.Posting Statement:All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, religious creed, sex, national origin, ancestry, age, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, military and veteran status, marital status, pregnancy, gender, gender expression, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by local law, regulation, or ordinance.Position of TrustN/AWork Model for this RoleThis role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
