Company:Qualcomm India Private LimitedJob Area:Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Software EngineeringGeneral Summary:Qualcomms Tools team in Hyderabad is looking for an experienced full-time software development engineer. Your primary responsibilities will be to design and develop these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential. The candidate is expected to have full proficiency in Python/C# and have multiple years of experience on developing applications, APIs.Minimum Qualifications2+ years of experience in the following areas is required:

  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain middleware infrastructure and platforms that integrate various internal/external task and defect management system.
  • Responsible for the overall support and maintenance of the JIRA platform and related solutions including JIRA plugins/add-ons.
  • Strong experience in various software technologies, methodologies and applied software engineering practices/standards such as Object-Oriented Design (OOD).
  • Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python/C#, JavaScript, and REST APIs code.
  • Experience with front-end technologies and frameworks (e.g., Angular, AngularJS, React JS, Typescript).
  • Ability to work independently and with a global team in a diverse, fast-paced, and collaborative environment, and be able to multi-task efficiently.
  • Ability to effectively understand and verify business/technical requirements and estimate projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong programming skills in C# or Python
  • Familiarity with JIRA, SQL Server, Amazon Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB.
  • Good understanding of defect management, task management and configuration management system with respect to process methods and tools.
  • Ability to write custom JQL (Jira Query Language), a plus.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Working in a project team alongside other developers.
  • Experience with working in an agile environment.
  • Identifying and handling technical risks and issues.
