Company:Qualcomm India Private LimitedJob Area:Finance & Accounting Group, Finance & Accounting Group > Global Accounting Ops CenterGeneral Summary:PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accountant ? Payroll will process end-to-end payroll for various countries in EMEA, such as Netherlands, France, Germany, Austria, Finland etc.
  • Work with HR for Payroll inputs validation, confirmation of EE timesheets, one-time payouts, over time, leave of absence notifications, Severance payments etc. and provide the same to payroll service providers within stipulated timelines.
  • Validate the payroll reports shared by service providers and ensure payrolls are processed on time without any errors.
  • Ensure Variance Analysis control is performed and research in variance report to determine next course of action.
  • Process reimbursements/claims requested by the Employees as per the frequency.
  • Provide back-up support to other countries? payrolls as and when needed.
  • Ensure Tax and Social Insurance filings and payments are fully compliant.
  • Prepare Payroll accounting files for the monthly payroll, time accrual and pension related accounting.
  • Handle payroll and tax year-end processing based on country specific requirements.
  • Handle employee tickets on queries regarding Payrolls and timesheets.
  • Work with multiple streams like HR, Legal, Finance and Benefits on various requirements.
  • Internal audits ? Assist in internal audits with high emphasis on accuracy, timelines, and compliance.
  • Maintain/update standard operating procedures on a Quarterly basis.
  • Adhere to operational controls with the EMEA payroll manager in Hyderabad.
Skills required:
  • Experience of 4 to 6 years into EMEA Payroll processing.
  • Experience of Payroll transition preferred.
  • Strong analytical, numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders.
  • Strong and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Workday, SAP.
  • Ability to understand various deadlines and ensure that the deadlines are met with Quality.
  • Would be required to work on European time zone.
Skills preferred:
  • Proficiency in any European language, e.g. German, French.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification
  • Payroll Certification, such as CPP
