Project Role : Data Platform EngineerProject Role Description : Assists with the data platform blueprint and design, encompassing the relevant data platform components. Collaborates with the Integration Architects and Data Architects to ensure cohesive integration between systems and data models.Must have skills : Informatica AdministrationGood to have skills : Shell ScriptingMinimum 2 year(s) of experience is requiredEducational Qualification : Minimum 15 years of fulltime educationSummary: As an Application/Cloud Support Data Platform Engineer with 2 years of experience in Informatica Administration, you will be responsible for assisting with the data platform blueprint and design, collaborating with Integration Architects and Data Architects to ensure cohesive integration between systems and data models. Your typical day will involve working with Informatica Administration, Shell Scripting, and other relevant data platform components to ensure seamless data integration and management. Roles & Responsibilities: -Installations, Configurations and Performance tuning, load balancing, tuning JVM heap size, connection pools, JMS configuration, threads etc - Working with Databases such as Redshift, PostgreSQL, Oracle Preferably Redshift. Experience in Upgradation, Command Line installation, applying patches, migration, Troubleshoot Experience - Experience in Linux shell scripting - Knowledge in Unix System Administration, Informatica Governance tools.- Assist with the design and implementation of the data platform blueprint, ensuring cohesive integration between systems and data models.- Collaborate with Integration Architects and Data Architects to ensure seamless data integration and management.- Provide support for Informatica Administration and other relevant data platform components.- Troubleshoot and resolve data platform issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.- Develop and maintain documentation for data platform components and processes. Professional & Technical Skills: -Informatica Power Center Administration - Must To Have Skills: 2 years of experience in Informatica Administration.- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Shell Scripting.- Strong understanding of data platform components and processes.- Experience with data integration and management.- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
