Job Description

The ideal candidate will be expected to:

  • Perform an independent assessment of the design and effectiveness of controls executed by the various JPMC lines of business through Monitoring and Testing activities to validate compliance / adherence with internal policies and procedures, as well as external laws, rules and regulations and identify any remediation that is required.
  • execute Issue Validations to ensure effectiveness of action plans implemented by the LOBs for reviews performed.
  • collaborate with the Compliance and Operational Risk Officers on engagements including developing test scripts, collaboration on issue discussions, business meetings and drafting of final reports; and
  • regularly use independent judgment to perform tasks including visualization of data in order to effectively communicate findings and themes over a period.
  • the successful candidate will be a team player and a self-starter who is accustomed to working in complex organizations, partnering with a diverse group of stakeholders, and achieving results.
  • stay abreast of new tools and technologies to assist the team in creating the most efficient and effective data strategies.

  • Bachelor?s Degree in law, CA, CS, or any related professional qualifications.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in Compliance, Audit, Risk or QA functions, or other equivalent regulatory background (preferably, in the financial services industry).
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Team oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, driven, proactive, personable, and have excellent and efficient communication.
  • Problem solver with the ability to work effectively with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, prioritize workflow and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to make sound decisions, including escalation where appropriate.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Have flexibility regarding working hours

  • Any related certifications viz. Six Sigma, Green Belt etc.
