You will be part of Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) Monitoring & Testing (M&T) - Analytics Solutions team, which plays a critical role in the execution of the firms CCOR mission. The Analytics Solutions team assists the CCOR function in the creation and maintenance of analytical solutions to support activities that strengthen a strong controls culture, by partnering with technology teams to create and leverage automation infrastructure that enables automation of CCOR activities, that look to measure adherence to CCOR standards. CCOR works closely with Business, Controls, Legal, Risk, Compliance and Audit functions to provide expertise on risk matters, assess and measure related risks, and monitor and test the adequacy of the firms control environment.Posting Description:Welcome to JP Morgan Chase. Our culture in Risk Management and Compliance is all about thinking outside the box, challenging the status quo and striving to be best-in-class.The Compliance, Conduct & Operational Risk (CCOR) Monitoring and Testing (M&T) team is responsible for the timely and effective management and execution of the firm?s global CCOR monitoring and testing program across multiple lines of business. Responsibilities:This position sits within the JPMC?s Global Compliance, Conduct, & Operational Risk (CCOR) department. The Analyst will be part of the Monitoring & Testing automation team, that supports all JPMC lines of business, with the automation of independent testing & monitoring activities, which seek to assess/evaluate processes, risks and the control environment.

  • Support testing and monitoring routines:
    • Build and Test Automation scripts that automate CCOR Compliance Testing activities in accordance with the firm?s CCOR Monitoring & Testing procedures
    • Develop and maintain program scripts to extract population data from the systems of records (SORs) to support testing activities
    • Document business requirements for Automation / the build of analytics and also generate SOPs for handover of automation to the CCOR Testing team for use as BAU activity
  • Deliver Value: Deliver concrete analytical solutions to existing/new business problems using low code no code platforms like UiPath, Automation Anywhere and Alteryx / basic coding in SQL / Python
  • Communication skills ? Ability to ask relevant question in the pursuit of creating accurate user stories and automation design
  • Candidate will be a team player and a self-starter who is accustomed to working in complex organizations, partnering with a diverse group of stakeholders, and achieving results.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:We are looking for someone excited to join our organization. If you meet the minimum requirements below, you are encouraged to apply to be considered for this role.
  • Bachelor or advanced degree
  • Overall Experience ? 4 - 7 years in Automation with Coding / Low Code / no Code Platforms.
  • ETL and Data Management Skills - ability to work with large volumes of data efficiently. Strong technical background and ability to manage and manipulate data extracted from systems of record
  • Certification with Automation tools like Alteryx, Power BI and Xceptor, preferred
  • Ability to effectively multi task ? work on 2- 3 automation requests concurrently
  • Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Experience in an Auditing / Risk management Environment
