Job Description

Posting descriptionThe candidate is required to work closely with senior team members and wide range to stakeholders such as business, data providers, and support functions to understand requirements, complete feasibility study, and create proposals for conceptual & physical data stores. This role will demand innovative solutions for data management and standardization, optimal and creates ease of use for end consumer. The candidate will also be expected to ensure delivery of comprehensive & feasible data model and dashboards keeping needs of key stakeholder together.Job responsibilities

  • Data/reporting professional with sound data management expertise to be able to act as an individual contributor supporting business teams by coordinating with various stakeholder and ensuring delivery of future ready data model
  • Capture data needs of various stakeholder and implement ways of making data easily accessible from data store to end consumers
  • Help business innovate through data-driven decisioning i.e. by data profiling, querying data and merging information from diverse data sources to create rich datasets that enable better decision-making
  • Work with other Analytics teams and multi-task on projects to summarize and synthesize data and present recommendations to business in a clear and logical manner
  • Provide analytical support using Data Visualization tools, SQL, Python in order to help business to measure KPIs or perform ad-hoc data exploration
  • Work closely with data lead and establish technical requirements. Create design proposals and gain buy-in
  • Work with various support services team and make the most of IT capability available within the firm. Innovations that can provide efficiency in automation. Work closely with business users to understand their reporting requirements and drive the delivery
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience in logical data model, data management, data analytics, data mapping, data governance, reporting and dashboard. In depth knowledge in Data Visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI etc.,
  • Experience in managing data / analytics deliverable or a consulting experience in the data/analytics space
  • Overall experience of 3+ years in in Banking/ Financial Services. - strong driving & navigational skills
  • Experience with relational databases (exp. in Big data is a plus) utilizing SQL/Alteryx to pull and summarize large datasets, report creation and ad-hoc analysis
  • Demonstrate ability to think beyond raw data and to understand the underlying business context and sense business opportunities hidden in the data Excellent verbal and written communication skills Advanced MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
  • A very strong track record of ownership and accountability will be key to the success of this role Experience of working in an Agile framework
  • Highly effective in narrating the analytical output to stake holders, draw agreement on business actions or formulate impact strategies
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Data analytics experience with Python is a plus
