Job Description

The Business System Manager is responsible for leading a team of exempt and non- exempt associates who are the system administrative support to Chase Auto users and Dealers. by developing a keen understanding of the Chase Auto business needs, securing and understanding of the processes and responsibilities of those involved in the business workflow and providing system solutions for operational processes. This position will be a liaison for all Chase Auto Lines of Business to provide system support, analysis to internal departments, inclusive of Retail and Private Label Business locations, Chase Auto IT Development and business support and testing for operational systems, origination system, origination portals and other downstream feeds integrated with origination systems and Datamarts.Responsibilities include the following:Lead, coach and mentor a team of exempt and non-exempt associatesAttend meetings with key stakeholders, gather and document user requirements, and assist with Change Management for product enhancements.Prioritize system testing and LOB program initiatives and priorities which may include end to end system testing for DealersSupport of system implementations and developmentSupport Workflow administration and updatesSupport project requests, inclusive of interaction with Senior Line of Business ManagementSupport FST, IST and UAT testing and system break fixesTrouble shoot and resolve production issues to include portalsSystem editor/table maintenance and auditsSupport Auto new locations and maintenanceMonitoring user access violations, audit and exception reportingWork with Information Owners to administer/manage user access, review and recertification?s for Chase Auto Finance systemsProvide analysis and reporting for operationsQualificationsRequired Skills:Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study3-5 years? experience leading associates and IT system administrationStrong leadership skills, proven ability to lead, coach, and mentor at all position levels.Ability to consistently maintain high performance level especially in stressful situations.Consistently acts in a way that is both trustworthy and trusting. Builds and maintains trust with others.Strong Analytical, technical and statistical skillsStrong independent starter, results orientedStrong communication skills, verbal and writtenAbility to interface with other Lines of Business and various levels of managementAbility to identify efficiencies to streamline processesDemonstrate a proactive approach to problem solvingKnowledge of business flows and processesUnderstanding of Databases related to applicationsAbility to multi-task and manage several initiatives/ prioritiesAbility to be very flexible in a changing environmentComputer literacy/proficiency om data query tools such as SAS, SQL and OracleProficient in MS Office ? Excel, Access, PowerPoint and WordExperience in data miningSharePoint Designer Experience preferredPreferred Skills:

  • Experience in data mining
  • Proficiency in ACAPS and ALA preferred
  • SharePoint Designer Experience preferred
  • Proficiency in MS office programs
  • Computer literacy/proficiency in data query tools such as SAS, SQL and Oracle
