Agile Lead.The Agile Lead role is based within within Enterprise Technology, supporting the banks global back office functions. Providing platform build & engineering services across the sector with primary focus on Cloud Platforms across Google and Azure public clouds.As the role is within a global team and involves working with a number of teams in different locations, and on a wide portfolio of projects. This is a dynamic environment where demands and priorities shift regularly. The role will include direct contact with IT and business colleagues on project teams.In this role, you will:

• Work with Product Owner / Technical Project Manager and Delivery Managers to define / refine the product backlog and facilitate prioritisation
• Ensure that delivery inception activity, story mapping, sprint planning, daily stand-up and retrospectives are well facilitated
• Ensure that expectations are aligned with regards to the goals, scope and time-lines for product delivery during the sprint activity
• Ensuring that engineering teams follow defined agile approach to delivery and that activity is well coordinated accordingly
• Coordinate and facilitate with support teams for resolution of blockers if any.
• Ensure that all risks and issues are appropriately managed in alignment to the defined goal and scope
• Facilitation of programme level planning across multiple work streams
• Actively track the sprint output to ensure team is delivering to the sprint plan and produce appropriate metrics
• Take complete responsibility for the delivery of the projects/stories in scope for each sprint.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Strong project management skills with a proven track record in successful delivery of infrastructure aspects of large sized complex projects
• Strong belief in Agile/Lean working practices and experience of coaching at all levels, from delivery team to senior management
• Working with Global and remote teams across multiple geographies and time zones.
• Experience of working in a regulating, preferably banking environment
• Experience of working in public cloud, in particular one of Google Cloud or Azure
• Extensive experience of working with high performing agile teams in CI/CD environments
• Excellent communication and stake holder management skills
• Industry level certification on agile methodology will be an added advantage.
