Job Description

Summary and Objective / Job Context:Overseeing a safe workplace environment and ensuring compliance with safety policies and regulation of the institute.ÿAssessing, designing, planning, and implementing overall safety to remove and have a control of risk and harm in the institute. Also, creating, enacting, and updating job safety programs for employees that encompass government health and safety regulations as well as company standards for safety in the institute.Basic Job Requirements & Accountabilities:Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the HSE Manager in mentoring and advising of the Project manager, Construction Manager and all NITI Staff about OHSE requirement in order to guarantee OHSE technical and regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare, maintain and implement all documents and procedures needed for the Project, in accordance to local legislation, HSE Requirement and to the NITI Management System (Site Health and Safety Plan, Environmental Construction Plan, etc) under the HSE Manager supervising.
  • Execute the HSE coordination activities and report the results (Minutes of Meeting) between NITI, Sub-contractors, Customer and other interested parties during the execution of the works.
  • Attend HSE Meetings with NITI team, Subcontractor and Supplier regarding his area of responsibility.
  • Implement HSE reports with the project status progress of the activities (incidents, near misses, and control sub-contractors, KPI etc.) to be submitted to NITI Corporate HSE office.
  • Implement and perform OHSE Audits and Inspection and reports in relation to the Plans developed by HSE Manager.
  • Inspect and report on daily basis the work areas on site to assure that OHSE measures are opportunely applied and OHSE risk are individuated and monitored.
  • Gather and analyze safety data and analyze injury and illness trends over time so that opportunities for prevention can be identified.
