Updates payroll information for monthly payrolls in SAP payroll system for new employees and as per policy.Updates leave and attendance records in SAP payroll system to ensure those are accurately maintained in the system with required documentation and back up.Updates employee records in SAP payroll system for earnings and deductions such as unauthorized absences, lateness and unpaid leave.Ensures timely transfer of all elements to pay to the bank, meeting strict payroll deadlines.Maintains an appropriate and systematic filing system for payroll records.Generates regular payroll reports through the system?Issues promotion, increment, salary certificates and other letters for employees as per employee request ? to be removed.Acts as a custodian of critical employee payroll data and maintains confidentiality.Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year ?Takes ownership of his/her own learning agenda by identifying development needs in consultation with the manager and agreeing on the individual development plan which goes beyond just training and development .Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth.
