Job Description

Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing treatment plans for patients with physical, emotional, and cognitive limitations. The Occupational Therapist will also work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to patient care.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments of patients to identify physical, emotional, and cognitive limitations
  • Develop treatment plans based on assessments and collaborate with patients to establish goals and objectives
  • Monitor and document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary
  • Utilize various therapy techniques and equipment to assist patients in achieving their treatment goals
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and home exercise programs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with the latest research, trends, and techniques in occupational therapy
Physical Demands: The Occupational Therapist must be able to lift and move equipment as needed and assist patients with physical activities as required. The therapist should also have the ability to stand for long periodsand be able to bend, stoop, and reach as necessary to provide patient care.Working Conditions: The Occupational Therapist will work in a healthcare setting and will be required to follow all safety and infection control protocols.
