Job Description

SummaryA BIM Modeler/CAD drafter, who will provide drafting and modelling support for HVAC services. Draw and detail plans for ducting and piping works based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, and specification sheets. He / She will coordinate and consult other team members to design, layout, or detail components and HVAC systems and make necessary modifications on drawings.Responsibilities

  • Ensure team discipline design is within the space allocation provided to minimize technical differences with other disciplines.
  • Ensure comparison of other disciplines? latest approved design models extracted from CDE/EDMS software.
  • Communicate with the respective discipline Digital Coordinator for potential design conflicts if any.
  • Assist HVAC Modelers on design and software-related updates and coordination issues.
  • Ensuring their discipline design model(s) content is compliant with the BIM Execution Plan.
  • Ensurestage, their discipline design model(s) content is developed on agreed LOD.
  • Extracting drawings and schedules to be issued to the Client.
  • Ensuring drawings are compliant with the standards outlined in this BIM Execution Plan
  • Ensuring effective use of computer programs to develop relatively error-free presentation drawings.
  • Ensuring that the drawings are clear (properly dimensioned, all notes included, legends, north points, all information reflected).
  • Ensuring to meet agreed deadline and task benchmarks established by team members.
  • Assist and provide support to ensure that all relevant safety, quality and environmental procedures, instructions and controls are adhered to so that the safety of employees, quality of products/services and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.
  • Protect the confidentiality of all designs within the section at all times.
Qualification
  • 8+ years of Revit experience plus 2years of AutoCAD experience.
  • Understanding of Systems.
  • Knowledge of, and proven practical background in, Autodesk Revit and related Building Information Modeling software.
  • Solid understanding of legacy CAD applications and practices, particularly AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with Design Visualization applications such as Autodesk 360, and Navisworks.
Certifications
  • Autodesk certificate in AutoCad
  • Autodesk certificate in Revit Advanced
