Job Description

SummaryHVAC Engineer II is a professional who will be engaged in providing specialized engineering tasks related to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning as per approved project specifications while working closely with another discipline.Responsibilities

  • Develop thermal load computations and analysis models, flow models, as required for the design of facility systems
  • Design and prepare smoke and pressurization calculations basedon the project?s approved HVAC system
  • Create air balance calculations for an optimum HVAC system that will ensureconsistent air conditioning outputs
  • Create and submit a detailed bill of quantity for construction or extraction projects in accordance with set deadlines
  • Research appropriate HVAC mechanical equipment as perthe client?s requirements.
  • Communicate directly with other disciplines if necessary to understand project requirements, goals, design specifications, and operational environments
  • To design the HVAC system as per the requirements mentioned in the proposal through various stages like designing, fabricating, and testing
  • Facilitate the compliance of all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the areas of activity to help guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and delivery of high-quality products/services and a reliable environmental attitude.
Qualification
  • 7-12years of HVAC design experience
  • Knowledge of using HVAC software( HAP, Trace software)
  • LEED background
  • Knowledge of local and international codes and standards
Certifications
  • Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE) membership
  • With LEED certification,Desired
