Job Description

About the Job:The holder of this position will be accountable for managing all engineering related activities of the group as the technical engineering reference and decision maker. This position is directly reporting to the COO and will be managing directly and indirectly the engineering functions (central and sites) teams. The jobholder will be the head of technical Capex committee and the technical engineering member of the management team?s investment committee.Key accountabilities

  • Accountable for setting the engineering functions (central and sites) structure, frame of work, strategies, policies and procedures, roles and responsibilities to achieve the company strategic growth plans from engineering prospective.
  • Managing his direct team of central engineering function and functionally the manufacturing sites engineering teams.
  • Managing the company engineering teams? (Central and sites) resources to achieve the overall ?company supply targets as qualifications, allocations, scope of work, roles and responsibilities, operational tasks and performance evaluation.
  • Along with his teams, acting as the technical single point of contact with engineering related suppliers.
  • Accountable for setting the company annual capital and investments plans according to the company strategic and growth plans.
  • Managing the execution of all capital investment projects.
  • Working with the industrial performance team on evaluating the manufacturing lines output.
  • Working with the industrial performance team on developing and executing the annual sites activities and process improvement plans.
  • Accountable for setting the manufacturing sites engineering related OPEX targets and following up on operational spend with the sites teams.
  • Accountable for evaluating, approving and supervise executing of engineering related improvement projects.
  • Accountable for managing the company engineering related assets as tagging, working condition and performance evaluation.
  • Accountable for evaluating and managing the introduction of new equipment, lines extensions and assets upgrades from engineering prospective as a head of the Technical Capex Committee.
  • Accountable for managing the engineering related working capital aspects to the maximum of the company benefit including spare parts stock items, stock levels and reorder points.
Key deliverables:
  • Develop Group engineering functions (Central and sites) sustainable, maintained and capable organization structure with related job descriptions and framework.
  • Evaluate engineering teams? capabilities and managing teams? performance management.
  • Develop annual group CAPEX Plan.
  • Develop and manage the CAPEX Execution plans.
  • Setting OPEX targets for manufacturing sites.
  • Setting Working Capital targets for manufacturing sites.
  • Develop and managing the execution of the engineering related annual activity calendar.
