The engineering responsibilities include developing an efficient design utilizing, whenever possible, standard Fabcon details
The engineer is also responsible for providing a building design in accordance with the architectural and structural drawings, specifications and all applicable building codes
Provide calculations on projects within the assigned team
Review the contract documents and provide efficient designs for building, connections, and precast panels in accordance with contract documents
Handle issues that may arise in the field or during the design process. Examples: Providing a field detail to repair a panel missing the embedded plates for a structural beam connection or coordinating with Sales and Project Management to address unique design aspects.
