Job Description

The fire truck driver will be responsible for operating and driving fire trucks to emergency scenes, ensuring the safe and timely arrival of the fire department. They will also be responsible for assisting in the maintenance and inspection of fire trucks, as well as performing basic firefighting duties when necessary.Responsibilities:

  1. Operate and drive fire trucks to emergency scenes in a safe and efficient manner
  2. Respond promptly to emergency calls and follow the designated route to the incident location
  3. Assist in the maintenance and inspection of fire trucks, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and equipment functionality
  4. Perform routine cleaning and washing of fire trucks to maintain cleanliness and professionalism
  5. Ensure that all equipment and tools are properly secured and stored in the fire truck
  6. Maintain detailed records of all emergency responses and activities
  7. Assist in the implementation of fire prevention programs and public education initiatives
  8. Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance firefighting and emergency response skills
  9. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while on duty
  10. Perform basic firefighting duties, such as operating fire hoses and extinguishers, as needed
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Valid UAE driving license with a clean driving record
  2. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a fire truck driver or similar role
  3. Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
  4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  5. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  6. Good physical fitness and strength to handle firefighting equipment
  7. Basic knowledge of firefighting techniques and equipment
  8. Flexible schedule to accommodate emergency response calls
  9. Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  10. Knowledge of the local road network and geographical area
