Job Description

The main purpose of this position is to act as the link between our client and their strategic partners to ensure that book distribution is as per schedule. My client provides excellent benefits, and you must be willing to relocate to Fujairah. Experience in the book distribution sector is essential.Description:

  • Work as the main link between our client and strategic partners
  • Draw up a distribution plan our client?s publications
  • Manage the fulfillment centers (receive, store, pick, pack, and ship out)
  • Participate in local and international events related to book distribution
  • Coordinate with different departments to ensure smooth operations and production
  • Maintain relationships with international booksellers and distributors
  • Ensure that books are available to readers in every place where books are sold
  • Responsible to manage partnerships and agreements with different publishing houses and cultural institutions
  • Maintain relationships with regional cultural and educational institutions, libraries, and local distributors
  • Forecast inventory levels to determine when and how many books need to be reprinted
  • Responsible to store the books and set a modern storage system for the publishing house
  • Prepare the periodic inventory of the books and send the reports to the finance department and senior management
  • Prepare reports related to book production when required
  • Train the team (drivers, Public Relation Employees, distributors, etc.) on how to perform their daily tasks to support production
  • Advice management on new opportunities that exist in the industry
