Material Planner Engineer, Biscuits 10th of Ramadan Biscuits Plant, EgyptExciting career opportunity in the Manufacturing function, in the capacity of Material Planner Engineer - Biscuits Plant , based in Cairo 10 th of Ramadan , Egypt.The main purpose of the role is to manage planning of pack material (Local & Export) through calculating & analyzing requirements based on production plan, available stocks, open orders as well as formula cards which are performed on monthly & weekly basis & coordinate these requirements with the procurement DepartmentMain Responsibilities:- Manage the material availability according to any related changes in Production plan, available stocks, open orders as well as formula cards.- Coordinate and convert formula cards into Bill of materials for all finished goods.- Liaise with other functions e.g. procurement to avoid potential or resolve existing issues and ensure materials are delivered as per planned. Implement, record and control by making any needed corrective actions.- Control inventories of packaging material to define obsolete materials.- Analyze material shortage, excess stocks, non-demand & slow moving stocks in terms of time, values & volume of Finished Goods.- Manage stock and delivers on the base of Phase in /Phase out, ensure providing procurement with future material requirement basis of production forecast.- Manage and control the raw materials inventories of shelf life to take necessary action for items that will expire before usage. REQUIREMENTS: QualificationsKnowledge, Skills and Experience Required:- University degree (Logistics, Economics or Engineering is preferred)- Minimum 1 year of practice in planning/logistics- Experience in local/foreign trade (import documents, quality certificates, etc)- Fluency in English & Arabic- Proficiency in MS office- Strong stakeholder management skills- Experience of working with multicultural teams- Team Player; ability to support and lead to achieve common goals- Strong Communication and Presentation skills.- Problem solving: Proactive and resourceful in solving problems, offering innovative and practical solutions in a dynamic environment
