Role Summary:Determine and minimize the companys worldwide tax liability with the highest integrity while complying with worldwide tax laws. Intermediate level professional positions requiring subject matter knowledge and experience, more independence in problem solving and decision making.Essential Responsibilities:- Handles all wing-to-wing tax reporting and tax accounting processes including forecasting, tax provision, compliance and settlement- Develop basic commercial awareness; may allocate and be responsible for the quality of work in others; act as advisor and coach to junior team members; developed interpersonal skills to handle complex situations- Focus on team & department priorities within operating unit and may be responsible for work and development of others REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications/REQUIREMENTS:- Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least strong experience in Finance) or equivalent knowledge/experience- Minimum strong experience in Tax OperationsDesired Characteristics:- Strong oral and written communication skills- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills- Ability to influence others and lead small teams- Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact- Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously- Effective problem identification and solution skills- Proven analytical and organizational abilityAbout Us:GE (NYSE:GE) drives the world forward by tackling its biggest challenges.
