Provide Application Web Administration support for up to an estimated 30 web servers in support of applications and systems requiring on-site support to include SIPRNet applications and systems.Provide subject matter expert level knowledge to the team and customer as needed to assist program managers (PMs) with application project planning through implementation.Collaborate with system administrators, telecom engineers, database administrators, and development teams with debugging, application troubleshooting, upgrades, and maintenance.Provide day-to-day support for web-based applications including installation, analysis, patching, debugging, maintaining and performance tuning for a variety of small to medium scale web applications running in an environment comprised of Windows Server 2008 or higher, IIS 7.x or higher, Apache Tomcat, .NET framework, PERL, Oracle/SQL Server DB, etc.Maintain familiarity with DOD Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG) in areas of Windows Member Servers, Windows Domain Servers, Internet Information Services (IIS), Apache Tomcat, Asp.net, and applications to identify potential impact and areas of concern.Provide support for emergency troubleshooting issues, critical project support, and application monitoring.Develop scripts; install and configure Government-off-the-Shelf (GOTS) applications; install, configure, and update Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS); or other tools to improve diagnostic efficiencies.Provide Tier III customer support for supported applications and application development.Provide support to ensure all Information Assurance and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) requirements are applied as directed. Recommend appropriate strategies to remediate website application software and COTS vulnerabilities. Ensure adherence to DOD and DLA Security guidelines for all platforms and web interfaces using ACAS vulnerability reports and remediate as requiredCollaborate and assist customers in site performance tuning in a web administrator capacity with firewall request forms, interfacing with the server infrastructure team, and meet new and existing project milestones.
