As an integral part of its mission, Amideast/ Egypt has been involved in building the capacity of Egyptian teachers for almost 60 years. Amideast is implementing a new teacher training initiative aiming at enhancing both teaching and leadership skills for female teachers working for the Egyptian Ministry of Education (MOE). The initiative is funded by an international donor, under the auspices of the MOE and implemented by Amideast/ Egypt. Amideast/ Egypt is seeking the services of an experienced curriculum developer to develop the required training materials for the intended program.The Soft Skills Curriculum Developer will develop interactive and engaging training content that can be adapted by teachers of all disciplines. S/he will be responsible for preparing standardized curriculum, handouts, and instructional PowerPoint.Tasks and Responsibilities:Tasks and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:? Select instructional methods, following the pre-determined time frames.? Prepare training material for both face-to-face and online sessions.? Prepare a teacher training curriculum manual (participants? guide and trainers? guide), handouts, and instructional PowerPoint.? Develop the TOT for the instructors who will teach the courses and incorporate an explanation of how to deliver training material in PPT notes section.? Work in conjunction with the EL Manager to create various types of authentic training material that meet the program objectives and deliverables.? Include interactive activities using video, case studies, gamification ?etc.? Ensure that the curriculum manual, handouts, instructional PowerPoint developed are supported by references and resources.? Ensure the created training material is authentic, has not been used or reproduced for any other program.? Ensure that all copyright laws are followed to reach predetermined objectives and provide an assessment plan to measure the progress of their skills.? Ensure the created material accommodates 60 hours of training divided into 10 days with 6 hours per day.? Share each module with Amideast for feedback and editing.? Attend bi-weekly meetings with EL manager and other Amideast managers to submit drafts and make any necessary adjustments.? Conduct two training/ orientation sessions per curriculum created for instructors with the help of the technical expert. ? Conduct induction session(s) on the material to all trainers at least 72-hours before training
