Job descriptionWe are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer who has a strong background in software engineering, with agile mindset and always keen on getting into new technologies. You will be working in challenging projects that will require high attention to details, critical thinking, problem solving skills, and innovation. Your team has a major impact on engineering our delivery by continuous optimization and improvements.   • Implement and manage CI/CD and configuration management.
  • Provide proven architectures, proofs of concept, and best practices for delivery.
  • Operate infrastructures using cloud and/or container-based platforms
  • Develop infrastructure automation with focus on scalability, observability, reliability, security, and quality.
  • Setup, operate and manage environments.
  • Handle code deployments in all environments.
  • Ensure application performance and availability (e.g. set up and manage APM Application Performance Monitoring tools , reduce latency, automation, etc.).
  • Manage cost, security, and monitoring to ensure the solutions meet business requirements.
  • Provide guidance based on best practices to the team throughout the life cycle of the project.
  • Work with different teams to implement and improve SLIs, SLAs, and SLOs.
  • Design, create and maintain documentation of best practices for implemented system and relevant configurations.
  • Apply company standards and best practices in daily work.
Education and Experience Required: Bachelor?s degree in computer science or engineering.Knowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding and embracing DevOps culture, principals, and best practices
  • Ability to develop and improve operational practices and procedures
  • Good understanding of software lifecycle
  • Awareness of agile concepts
  • Good understanding of OS/kernel/NW concepts
  • Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience in scripting (Bash or Powershell, Python, Groovy)
  • Good understanding of version control and configuration management
  • Good understanding of containerization (Kubernetes, Docker and Helm charts)
  • Awareness of scalability, reliability and security guidelines
  • Good understanding of creating solutions, estimations and sizing
  • Good knowledge of state-of-the-art tools and integrations
  • Excellent communication skills
