Job Description

Job Title: SHE Lead - Supply Chain MakeMain Job Purpose:(A concise statement setting out the main purpose and objectives of the job.)The SHE Corporate Lead is responsible for supporting the Site SHE Lead in all compliance related work in Safety, Environment and Health for the site and supports the deployment of group safety strategies plant wide. This includes ensuring Framework Standards (FWS) compliance for all manufacturing locations, supporting the SHE Positive Assurance Reporting (PAR) process and SHE FWS audits. S/he supports SHE activities across all site-category combinations in the cluster and has a direct impact on Safety performance through monitoring of KPIs and using the Safety reporting system to generate performance reports.Key Accountabilities:(Please describe the responsibilities and end results that would be expected.)

  • Drive deployment of Framework Standards across the cluster
  • Ensure constant improvement in PAR scores across all sites and compliance with Framework Standards and Specific Standards
  • Build capabilities in the cluster for Risk Assessment using techniques like PHA/SIMAS/HAZOP
  • Communicate identified Best Practices across the cluster
  • Monitor progress on safety performance of sites in the cluster, check integrity of data and prepare reports to ensure planned reductions are taking place against targets
  • Determine training needs and assist in the delivery of training programs to build new capabilities in the cluster
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Unilever BBS Program and support deployment in sites
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Unilever PSM Program and support deployment in sites, including the application of Unilever guidelines and procedures for Process Safety assessment (SIMAS)
  • Assist the Group SHE Operations Manager (Safety) in the facilitation of cluster SHE CoPs
ESSENTIAL
  • University degree in Science or Engineering or professional certification in SHE related field
  • 8-10 Yeas of working knowledge
  • Excellent knowledge of Unilever SHE standards, European Regulations , or Local Regulations

  • University degree in Occupational Health & Safety
  • NEBOSH Advanced Diploma or SQR Above Leve 8
Experience Required: (Please detail essential and desirable experience, including no. of years.)ESSENTIAL
  • Strong safety background with demonstrable achievements in safety
  • Proven track record of analytical thinking
PREFERRED
  • 5-8 years experience supply chain operations
  • Appropriate functional/technical expertise
