Job Description

Senior Tax Manager | Group Tax | Corporate ServicesJOB PURPOSEThe Senior Tax Manager will primarily focus on tax advisory, tax controversy management and tax risk management for the Al-Futtaim Group entities in Egypt.This position is for a senior tax professional, who will be based in Cairo and will be responsible for executing the Group Tax strategy within Egypt. It includes managing Effective Tax Management Model which involves working with Tax Back-Office and tax community members and taking ownership of tax controversy/ audit, tax advisory, tax planning, transfer pricing, Corporate Tax compliance reviews and tax accounting reviews.The successful candidate will be part of the global Al-Futtaim Group Tax team reporting into the Group Tax headquartered in Dubai. The candidate will work closely with Tax Back-Office, businesses, service providers, and other tax professionals in carrying out responsibilities. He or she will primarily work with tax and financial management within the Group, the Company and third party service providers.ÿKEY ACCOUNTABILITIESTax Strategy

  • Manage the implementation of the Group Tax strategy from a planning, compliance and risk management perspective in Egypt
Business Community
  • Build relationships and interact with stakeholders to provide excellent tax advisory expertise on business transactions and acquisitions
Tax Community
  • Coordinate with Tax Back-Office and key business stakeholders to effectively manage Egyptianÿtax matters
Tax Compliance
  • Ensure adequate reviews of complex Corporate Tax Returns and provide guidance to Tax Back-Office teams in Egypt
Tax Planning
  • Identify tax planning opportunities within the limits of tax risk management in Egypt
Tax Risk Management
  • Identify and mitigate tax risks in Egypt for all legal entities
Tax Controversy
  • Manage tax audits for all type of taxes in collaboration with Group Tax, Tax Back-Office, Business Finance and third-party consultants
Transfer pricing
  • Ensuring that the Egypt entities adhere to the Group?s Transfer Pricing Policy and local regulations
