Job Description

DescriptionSAIC is seeking Sr. Program Analyst/Master Scheduler to serve as a subject matter expert in developing integrated master schedules (IMS?s) in support of the Navy Hypersonic Program and Government National Team. This position is located in Washington DC and allows for a hybrid schedule with some telework. Candidate must be in close proximity to Washington Navy Yard to drive in for meetings as needed. Note: This is a pipeline position for an upcoming/future opening. Percentage of travel will be up to 10%. Locations of travel may include Huntsville, AL/Crane, IN/Cape Canaveral, FL/ Denver, CO (approximately 2 trips per year). Approximate weekly commute of 3 days a week to Washington Navy Yard.JOB DESCRIPTION:The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing multiple IMS schedules for the various program technical branches, as well as assisting with integration of program performer schedules to generate and maintain an accurate Enterprise-level master schedule.JOB DUTIES:

  • Work closely with a small team of other master schedulers on the Program to create and manage resource loaded IMS schedules to enable accurate performance tracking, cost and funding forecasting, and anticipate staffing and logistics requirements.
  • Work closely with program leadership across functional areas as well as program performers (Prime Contractor, Warfare Centers, Govt National Labs, and other contractors) to identify and accurately capture key program milestone events, CDRL deliveries, program reviews, integration activities, document contract changes and additions, and training requirements.
  • Identify and track critical path
  • Support for metrics generation and reporting
  • Provide probability of program success factors and metrics to support the program with an integrated view of program risks with enough detail and predictive power to enable early risk recognition, mitigation, and resolution for all programs.
  • Apply a comprehensive knowledge of scheduling across key tasks and high impact assignments.
  • Evaluate performance results and recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
QualificationsREQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:
  • Bachelors Degree and 6+ years of experience as scheduler for program of similar scope and complexity.
  • Extensive knowledge with developing & maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) & Integrated Master Plans (IMP). Advanced-level Microsoft Project experience
  • Experience with Critical Path in scheduling activities
  • DoD Acquisition Program experience (Navy preferred).
  • Experience with Milestone Pro software (desired)
  • Experience with Cost and Schedule integration w/ regard to EVM.
  • Experience with Risk & Opportunity Management (desired).
  • Ability to multi-task and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work complex issues, and meet deadlines.
  • Agile planning and scheduling experience
  • Ability to prepare and present various types of reports to all levels of Management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to apply organizational, planning, management, problem solving & execution skills to multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good command of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen.
  • Position requires Interim Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS clearance
