Job Description

Our ClientOur partner is a leading IT Consulting looking to hire a Senior Cloud Operations Manager to lead a newly established Cloud Operations Center in Egypt. They are looking to grow their teams across the globe, and are currently focusing on their team in EgyptYour Responsibilities

  • Oversee Cloud Management Center and other cloud support offerings to ensure world-class customer service for the managed service provider business.
  • Responsible for supporting large scale global networks and their associated services to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Ensure that meaningful metrics related to established SLAs, availability, capacity and performance are captured, validated and reported.
  • Develop plans to improve performance, reliability and operational cost-effectiveness.
  • Design and implementation of IT service management process (ITIL), as well as ensuring compliance with SOC, PCI, HIPAA and other requirements.
  • Set tactical goals and initiatives for current Cloud Operations Center team
  • Identify technologies that can be used to improve customer service levels
  • Develop and maintain a team through coaching and performance management
  • Gather, challenge, clarify and document technical requirements coming from technology leadership
  • Manage the organizations Cloud accounts on both (AWS, Azure)
  • Determining the architecture that executes the roadmap which is established for each client and internally
Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years progressive experience with technical and management background.
  • 5 to 10 years of operations management experience leading high-performance teams ? preferably servicing external clients
  • Strong organizational and team leadership skills.
  • Ability to motivate teams to meet tight deadlines.
  • Displays enthusiasm, energy, and quality focus.
  • The ability to work under a heavy workload in a time critical environment
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Requires advanced analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Experience planning support for a multi-discipline operation
  • Strong experience in developing staff and implementing effective performance management mechanisms
  • ITIL Certified or experience other ITSM systems
  • Experience with - Cloud Experience (preferably AWS)
  • Linux, Databases and DevOps experience
  • Container (Docker/Kubernetes) experience
  • Experience with monitoring and metrics of a global infrastructure
