Using state of the art software technologies are key to provide the requested user experience.nnFor the development of state of the art middleware software components for the future autonomous vehicle generation of a premium German car manufacturer, we are searching for experienced DevOps engineers to join our international team.nnIn the context of the development of the next car architecture this automotive SW development project will gain a central role in the clients E/E Architecture.nnThe subject of this specific project is the development of a software platform for the next generation of the clients autonomous driving system. This includes software engineering and software development activities for platform functionalities and systems functions of the SW Platform.nnSystem Functions in this terms are all open and proprietary functions which arenu2022 necessary for E/E integration into a vehicle: e.g. programming, diagnostics, coding, vehicle clock/time sync management, service discovery, communication vianstandard links like ethernet etc.nu2022 necessary as a supplemental function: e.g. logging of data to external logger boxes (tracing), debugging capabilities (e.g. via JTAG)nu2022 necessary for internal operation of the system, e.g. process management, CPU/RAM/Flash quota management, schedulingnu2022 necessary for the safe operation (e.g. ASIL requirements, watchdogs, diagnostic monitors)nu2022 necessary for the secure operation (e.g. HSM configuration, secure boot concepts for all relevant SoCs etc.)nnThe software platform is based on an QNX operating system, which hosts a commercial Adaptive AUTOSAR stack including OEM specific functionalities fornu2022 programmingnu2022 diagnosticsnu2022 codingnu2022 vehicle clock/time sync managementnu2022 service discoverynu2022 loggingnu2022 process management, CPU/RAM/Flash quota management, schedulingnu2022 safety and security functionalities like certificate management, HSM configuration, secure boot, etc.nnThe software stack developed within this project shall be deployable to different underlying hardware platforms. The initial launch of this software stack is currently targeted for July 2025.Skills - Several years of experience in a DevOps role (coding and scripting for the automation)n- Knowledge about several DevOps Tools (version control, configuration management, continuous integration, continuous testing, network protocols)n- Knowledge of the key-concepts of DevOps (e.g. Config-as-code, Infrastructure-as-code)n- Proven skills and experienced with C, C++, Pythonn- CI/tooling skills: Git, Python, bash scripting, Docker, bazel test and build automationn- Problem solving, critical thinking, user-oriented mindset, communication and cooperation ability, proactivity, flexibilityn- Knowledge about agile methods in SW developmentn- Fluent in EnglishResponsibilities - Responsible for setting up configuration environment for all project stakeholders. Performs configuration audits and writes configuration records and reportsn- Creates baselines of preliminary selected working productsn- Configures Change Management and Problem Tracking toolsn- Creates releases from baselined productsn- Supports in setting up HW infrastructuren- Maintains the continuous integration environmentn- Supervises the continuous integration environment (performance & stability)n- Supports for SW developers and release managers for CI & local build environmentn- Identifies the repeating tasks for possible automationn- Maintains and configures the applications of the CI environmentn- Implements cross-project tooling solutions
